The finishing touch

This capsule collection of The Re-Run has been finished using a natural dying process, we choose for a homebased sustainable and safe method. The pigments used are based on plants and minerals, think of the turmeric root (the yellow Re-Run) and the indigo plant (the blue Re-Run). This makes the dying process naturally degradable. Every shoe is slightly different in its colorway, which is one of the reasons why this is a unique collection. It is a safe and special process we used. Because the coloring is all done by-hand, it safes up lots of water.

Naturally dyed in Amsterdam

This specific Re-Run has been natural dyed in Amsterdam. Our Team went to BORO ATELIER to capture this unique moment of this capsule collection. BORO is a Japanese philosophical concept: ‘’use everything and waste nothing’’. BORO ATELIER is the first sustainable & social textile production atelier in Western Europe.
