We teamed up with the University of California and specifically with their award-winning tennis department to create a unique capsule collection honouring our American vintage sport DNA and their history of succes. UCLA Tennis has won 114 championships and has produced more professional tennis athletes than any other American college, with the most legendary alumnus being tennis legend Arthur Ashe. The Mercer Re-Varsity is our brand new fabric applied to our classic Varsity pattern. The material is made from ECONYL, which is recycled nylon from a.o. seawaste. Econyl is ued by several haute couture brands, and we understand why; the appeal of the fabric is high, it has a matte look and feel, is water repellant and sustainable combining into a more vintage 90's look and feel. For the UCLA special edition we have a UCLA TENNIS embroidery on the chest, "CHAMPS MADE HERE" embroidery on the sleeve, two tennis rackets embroidered on the other sleeve and the UCLA seal logo on the other sleeve.

- The Mercer Varsity letters on the chest are made from chenille in matching tonal colours. The Mercer Quilted Varsity is padded with recycled PET bottles.

Mercer Amsterdam recommends customers to measure their feet before choosing the size. Measuring your feet will take a few minutes, while returning a wrong size will cost you and Mercer Amsterdam unnecessary time. You can estimate your shoe size by measuring the heel to toe length of your feet.

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR FEET
Place one foot on a piece of paper. Mark the paper at the end of your heel bone and at the end of your longest toe. Measure the distance between the two points and repeat the process for your other foot. If one foot is slightly larger, use the largest measurement as your foot size.
