The Brand

Inspired by the famous Hollywood cat P22, the eponymous brand brings sustainability to the trail running mix. As the animal P22 was the ultimate hiker - walking up and down the Santa Monica Mountains for 10 years – the inspiration could not have been better. Whether you are beastin’ it out on the trails or taking them out for a casual walk – P22 never fails to deliver in terms of uncompromising comfort and sustainability. 

Why P22?

Current trail running shoes contain too much plastic. We want to bring sustainability to trail running. As one of the sports that relies most on nature, why pollute the world we run on?

The product.

The P22 aims to bring sustainability to high performance trail running. Engineered to create a plush and stabile trail running shoe with a sustainable footprint that beats the big box brands to a knock-out.

Engineered by Mercer in collaboration with VIBRAM, the P22 outsole offers the ultimate grip featuring a Vibram MegaGrip rubber outsole and a plush two-layer midsole made from sugarcane and bamboo powder.

The engineered mesh is Bluesign Recycled Plastic, solution-dyed and GRS certified. The lining is a ultra breathable Oeko-Tex 100 certified. The shoe is further filled with recycled memory foam that cradles the ankle for ultimate comfort. Created with a heel drop of 6mm, creating a shoe that is on the “natural” side.

The rear crash pad affords an incredibly soft and balanced ride from heel strike to forefoot transition.

Designed in collaboration with @vibram, the Megagrip outsole consists of 50% recycled rubber, while the natural EVA midsole contains bamboo powder and sugarcane.
