STORE MANAGER

BRANDSTORE AMSTERDAM

We are looking for a store manager to join our team located in Amsterdam.

Mercer is looking for a talented and passionate Dutch and English and speaking all round sales associate to work in our brand-store in the cozy and modern neighborhood, De Pijp in Amsterdam.

ABOUT MERCER

Mercer is a brand-leader in high-end sustainability, it was founded in 2013 in Amsterdam. Our designs, think of shoes, apparel and accessories- are all designed in-house in Amsterdam. We sell in high-end department stores, luxury boutiques and as of recent; in our own brand.

Mercer’s HQ and brand store are connected to each other, the building is situated in the heart of Amsterdam in the neighborhood we call our second home, De Pijp. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Day-to-day store management
• Responsible for turnover and targets
• Responsible for the schedule and scheduling of part-time employees
• Freedom to organize events, drinks and collaborations in-store
• Make sure customers feel welcome in the store
• Professional advice about our products
• Invite customers to experience the products

ABOUT YOU

You have empathy and you get along well with different type(s) of customers. You can do several things at once, manage part-time employees while keeping an eye on targets and revenue. You will also regularly be in the store yourself, so we also expect an accessible and representative appearance and a good command of the Dutch and English language. Knowledge of automated stock and cash register systems is an advantage. Preferably you live in Amsterdam.
